Really nice comfy base for one night. Nice and fine accommodation with marvellous setting close to the Stockade district, outlets for electronic devices and the supermarket. Toast, cereal, hot waffles, and fruit for breakfast...

Everything was great, its staff and rooms, plus good wi-fi. Warm and adequate breakfast, including cereals, fruit, toast and hot waffles. The staff tried to be attentive and made our stay a very nice experience.

The staff was friendly and served us well. The complimentary coffee in the room was very good. That is important to a traveler first thing in the morning. We had dinner the night before at a nice restaurant, spent over 100.00 for the 2 of us and the coffee was not nearly as good as in our room.

Clean and inexpensive.
À bit run-down. Uninviting lobby and breakfast room. Unsmiling manager.

Not a lot, but it was where we wanted to be.
It was seedy, grubby and shabby.

The stay brought a whimsical charm, illuminated by dappled light amid curious curtain holes and a faintly energetic atmosphere. The refrigerator was impressively clean, though the mystery of its tough opening could discourage late-night snacks. The lack of functional outlets made charging devices a logistical challenge, requiring unplugging lamps and a coffee maker. One lamp was out entirely. It had a character that overshadowed its quirks was good.

a quirky room with character but needs updates for comfort
The room had some charming touches but could really use modern upgrades.

The room was super cozy with a fantastic bed and pillows that made it hard to get up! We loved lounging by the pool and enjoying some quiet time in the hot tub. The only downside was a slight musty smell in the hallway, but it didn’t ruin our stay at all. 😊

This motel was a good spot for our large family. We loved visiting the nearby Stockade District, experiencing the rich history of New York's first capital. The comfy beds, and the clean fridge was a handy addition for snacks.
My kids wished the amenities were better suited for families, perhaps a pool would have made a big difference.

My stay was pleasant overall. the beds were super comfortable and I loved the hot shower. However, the cleanliness could use improvement. I enjoyed the bagged breakfast, even if it wasn't amazing. Would I stay again? Probably not.
